DAMA RINASCIMENTALE AL CARNEVALE VENEZIANO - RENAISSANCE LADY AT THE CARNIVAL OF VENICE

Dopo aver scattato in'infinità di foto abbiamo scoperto che - io avevo sempre il volto coperto - frequentavamo entrambi l'accademia di Brera ed in più lui era amico di mia sorella e compagno del corso di Giapponese frequentato da entrambi all'università di Torino : piccolo il mondo ! 

LA MASCHERA - non ce ne sarà mai una copia!  Almeno non realizzata in questo modo ! Il viso di carta pesta e gesso è montato su un impianto di rete metallica molto fitta, modellata e rivestita di carta e gesso, dipinta a spray in oro brunito.con la ghirlanda  incollata con colla a caldo.  Con  la cinghia per tapparelle ho creato un caschetto di lacci per fissare la maschera alla testa , un drappo di raso amaranto copriva il tutto seguendo il profilo dell'aureola e veniva poi legato sotto il mento per evitare l'effetto vela:   Il tutto per un peso di 7, 50 etti da portare a passeggio per le calli a volte troppo strette per passarci frontalmente  !!!!   Mai più!!!!

THE MASK - there will never be a copy! At least not made that way! With the strap for roller shutters have created a helmet laces to secure the mask to the head, a cloth of crimson satin covered the following the profile of the halo and was then tied under the chin to prevent the sail effect : All for one weight of 7, 50 ounces to take a walk around the streets sometimes too narrow to pass from the front ! ! Never again ! !

 Abito di scena Scaligero salvato dallo smembramento !!!! Gli scenografi volevano riutilizzare la stoffa per il fondale simil icona del Boris Godunov.... L'abito è di flanella ruvida, pungeva da morire, doppiato con pizzo ecrù. Per il gilet ho riciclato gli scarti della sezione tappezzeria della Scala, il velluto è quello delle poltrone di platea !!!!!. L'ho guarnito con una miscela speciale di colle e polvere d'oro. Ho impreziosito il corpino con perle e nastri, gli stessi per la borsina . Per la maschera è un'altra storia quindi altra foto !!!!

Dress scene Scaliger saved from dismemberment!! The designers wanted to reuse the fabric for the bottom of the icon like Boris Godunov .... The dress is of coarse flannel, stung to death, lined with ecru lace. For the vest I recycled scraps of upholstery section of La Scala, the velvet is one of the seats in the stalls!!. I garnished with a special mixture of glue and gold dust. I have the bodice embellished with pearls and ribbons, the same for the little bag. For the mask is a different story then the other pictures!!

 Qui si nota meglio il ricamo di perle e finta collana . La maschera è su una base di lattice : rivestita di raso amaranto, ricamata con perle e polvere d'oro. Acconciatura....segue nell'altra foto

DAMA RINASCIMENTALE AL CARNEVALE DI VENEZIA - Il retro del gilet ha un altro disegno eseguito con colla e polvere d'oro, nastri di raso multicolori ed acconciatura composta da cuffietta di velluto con fissata retina ocra, da me intrecciata, guarnita con nastri amaranto e perle. NB : per lo chignon ho usato un posticcio del mio colore dei capelli
